Since you started no contact in late September, it would probably be better to wait another week at least before you reach out to thank her for sending your stuff. You could use that opportunity to start a conversation with her and if she responds positively, continue towards building up a level of comfort and attraction between the two of you again. If at least the one who committed a totally out of bounds act does a thorough rethinking and relearning the result the result can be betterment and continuation of the marriage, provided s/he becomes totally clear that s/he will not repeat the behavior. To reply to Renne’s comment, you should act happy. Not overly happy, as if you are just so glad that you are single but you should be the same vibrant girl that he fell in love with. He liked you from the beginning because you were happy and were out there living your life and doing you. So, be that same girl that is still out there living her life regardless of him. A man doesn’t want your happiness to be based on him or what he does. He needs a girl that is going to be just fine with or without him. You should still be there to listen if he wants to talk but do not force him to talk about anything he doesn’t want to. He’s not trying to shut you out. He just needs space to get it figured out on his own. And being able to figure things out on his own is something that builds confidence in himself and will help him be ready for you sooner rather than later. So, give him space. Be happy regardless. And be there for him when/if he needs you… but no pressure.
Get moving. During this time, it’s a great idea to get active. It’s practically common knowledge that exercise provides many benefits on various levels, both physically and emotionally. Exercise can help us reduce our stress levels, boost our mood, relieve anxiety, increase relaxation, helps us stay focused and the list goes on and on. And of course, in addition to feeling good, exercise will also help you look really good! Fortunately, getting moving is more fun than ever thanks to a wide variety of options out there. You’ve got Zumba, CrossFit, Salsa, Pole dancing, Barre Method, Soul Cycle, Yoga, Pilates… really whatever you want. You can also just opt to go the old-fashioned route and run on the treadmill or outside when it’s nice. Just do something to get those endorphins pumping!

Hi, I just want to ask for advice. I've been broken up with my ex for over a month now. Fresh from the breakup, we still talled daily and met up at least once a week. During that month, she acknowledged that she still loved me but she still wants to remaon single because she is not in a safe place to give commitment. I, being the clingy dude I was, tried winning her back, even calling her over the phone. She would still answer when I call but is still firm on her decision. Finally last week, she said to me straight up that she had enough of me always bringing up the past and says she doesn't want to talk to me anymore so that I could move on and that I should forget that I stood any chance of getting back together with her. However, she hasn't blocked me on social media and my cellphone number. I'm not so sure how to feel right now, or if there is even a way to save the relationship. She said she broke up with me because I was too clingy, there would be times where we would have an argument because sometime I would see her online and would not give even a hi to me, even though she sais she doesn't really know why we broke up. Anything I can do to save the situation?
I've dated two other men since him, plus ive had shorter flings, I've have had a lot of time to detach and relax and feel FAR less needy around him... I think things could be better this time and that I wouldn't be as emotionally reactive as I used to be with him, but he flat out says doesn't believe that. He used to tell me in the past that i had no idea how strongly our fights used to affect him - so now he doesnt want any chance of going back there and hes happy just keeping it light and friendly but distant. How can I get past his resistance about meeting? I believe that if we meet once or twice he will see things are better and calm down... but I can't get that initial meeting to happen

Great job for stopping smoking. But remember, you really did it for yourself. That choice is yours for “you” and it will have positive implications for your entire life. Just go it slow. My bf split up with me last week after 2.5 years living together. We were committed to each other and always were making plans for the future. This article really resonated with me as I can see where things went wrong perhaps (I have been confused all week) I feel I pushed him away by trying to get it to go in a certain way (ie pressuring him about children – but then feeling like we came to agreement) I am 36 and had come out of a toxic marriage when we met. I then got made redundant he had two lots of sugery on his hand and then I had a brain haemorrhage! All within 3 months! We then spent 3 months recovering together with each other everyday meaning that sex was off the table as we were both too ill and the fun disappeared. I felt it was just about getting back to normal and starting doing what we used to. He then started acting very distant and said he didn’t know what was wrong and that he didn’t want to break up. I then started feeling incredibly vulnerable and probably a bit needy as I felt everything in my life was slipping through my fingers. And then he ended it. I’m in shock I feel that a combination of stress and situation has pushed him away from me and I’ve lost him forever. I felt we were so solid and committed and now he says there’s something missing and we can never go back. Is there any hope?
He went on a road trip to Chicago alone(we are in San Diego so this was a big trip) after memorial weekend cause he wasn’t working to visit family. He was gone for two weeks, called and text me daily I really felt like he missed me and I never get that from him only cause he isn’t he cuddly, not always romantic type which isnt a big deal to me. He came back and completely stonewalled me and wouldn’t talk. That’s when the bickering really started. He would talk to everyone except me. He is so social and playful I knew something was wrong. I asked over and over which I shouldn’t have I even asked specifically “do you love me, do you want me here, and is everything OK?” He said yes, we don’t need to talk 24\7 I let it go. I would ask here and there if everything was okay, again I know probably shouldn’t have. This went on for 2 weeks, then about 12 days ago he dropped it on me. Came in the room told me we shouldn’t be together, he needs to work on himself, we aren’t where we should be after all these years and then I said you don’t love me? He said he was sorry. I didn’t cry or beg(learned my lesson the first time) I said okay “I’m not gonna force you or make you do something you don’t want to do I’ll get my stuff and leave”. He offered to help me move my stuff I said no and did it by myself the next day.
My ex broke up with me two weeks ago, because of a text I sent him AND he broke up with me over the phone. We have broken up maybe ten times already this year and I am honestly so drained. He is extremely controlling, jealous, possessive, obsessive and verbally and mentally abusive. But HE broke up with me after I put up with all those horrible traits he has. But for some reason, this break up hit me real hard. HEs not the same guy I met in the beginning and I’m starting to think THIS is really who he is. He said he won’t change and that there is nothing wrong with him and that this is all my fault. I have become obsessive like him and I’m feeling so lonely and sad, over someone who once even called me a whore because he has zero trust in me, and I have always been honest and loyal to him. I don’t know what to do. I’m trying to get out of the house and do things that I like but I’m feeling a little depressed over it. I don’t know he still has this much power over me. I even called him crying and screaming telling him I’m having a hard time over this break up and I think he’s getting a kick out of it. I feel like he stole my mojo cuz I used to be so tough in the beginning. Now .... I lost my female balls and I feel like I will never find someone again who will love me like he did. But why would I want someone to love me the way he did when clearly it was a toxic love. Any advice on how I can get myself back? I’m more concerned about getting my balls back rather then him. I apologize for the language but this is the best way I can’t describe what I feel. He controlled me so much that even without him I still feel like I’m under his control. Any advice please?!
